On April 23 SetWeb organised the Breakfast Meeting 'The Power of Instagram' at Spaces in Amsterdam, presenting the latest statistics, do's and don'ts, legal issues, cases and business opportunities.
While everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast, the tricks and tips of visual storytelling were discussed. To enrich our presentation we invited Nick van Lierop (Blogmij) to offer his professional experiences of brand promotion and the use of influencers by presenting a recent case in the Netherlands. We also asked Kevin van 't Klooster (Osborn Clarke, awarded 'law firm of the year' 2015) to elaborate on the legal aspects of user generated content and advertising. A variety of guests including HEMA and CitizenM offered their insights into the social media tool and the best way to utilise the app for promoting business.

During our breakfast meeting we asked our guests to guess the amount of posts generated with the #Koningsdag to illustrate the growth of Instagram in the Netherlands.
The lucky winner of the #koningsdag contest is Ron Meulmeester of Kingfisher. Congratulations Ron! In total 84.036 posts were generated with on Koningsdag. Your guess (82.750) was nearly right and you won a rooftop party for 10 colleagues with free drinks for an hour at Spaces.
